The Loan Process Explained
The Application
Start
by filling out our online 1003 application. We have streamlined
the loan process, making things as simple as possible.
Then, after discussing the options with you, we custom
tailor a loan specifically to your needs. Once the right
loan program has been chosen, we will ask you to help
us expedite the process by providing us with necessary
documentation. The entire application process should not
take more than 20 minutes.
Processing
After
we have received your loan application, we will send you
a set of disclosure forms, along with a small list of
items to return. You simply sign and date the disclosure
forms and return them by mail to us, along with any requested
documents. Upon receipt of these items, we will then complete
the processing of your loan; order a credit report, appraisal,
escrow instructions, title policy and any other documentation
necessary to complete the loan process. The loan will
then be pre-underwritten by a member of our senior staff
and immediately submitted to the appropriate lending institution
who will be funding your loan.
Underwriting
We
then submit a complete loan package to the underwriter.
The loan does not usually encounter any delays or the
need for any additional documentation from you. The loan
usually gets approved and our processing department then
works with the underwriter to complete any minor conditions
that may be required prior to documents.
Closing
Loan
documents are ordered and sent to escrow or another closing
agent. An appointment is made for you to sign the loan
documents. After you sign the loan documents, they are
returned to the closing department for final review and
funding. We work hard to see that the loan process goes
smoothly from application to closing. |
